The Spanish-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce received Jacob Schram, CEO of CEPSA

Last Wednesday, July 12, we had the honor of receiving CEPSA’s director, Jacob Schram, at the Norwegian Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Schram has had a remarkable career, with more than 30 years of experience leading international companies such as Norwegian Air Shuttle, Circle K Europe or Mcdonald’s among others. He is also the author of the book «The Essence of Business» and in 2017 he was named «Manager of the Year» by the Norwegian Association of Small Food Retailers. He has an outstanding management style, focused on fostering a positive work culture and employee well-being, and his business perspective is inspiring. He shared with us his belief that engaging people through genuine interest in and respect for his work is the key to success. According to him, a good leader listens, asks questions and strives to integrate people into the goals and dreams of the business. He stressed how essential it is to have a good healthy work environment. Employees are inspired by his work environment, so their well-being should never be compromised.

«In Scandinavia it is a crucial debate and to participate in order to feel part of a process. In Spain it is more hierarchical, but at the same time there is a great commitment and very hard-working people”, he explains.
